The 2025 Warsaw International Book Fair will be held in the Palace of Culture and Science and on Plac Defilad and at the Museum of Modern Art. The Republic of Korea will present itself as Guest of Honour. The fair is organised by the History and Culture Foundation.
Guest of Honour Programme
The upcoming edition of the International Book Fair in Warsaw will be the first such rich opportunity to meet authors from the Republic of Korea, to learn about contemporary South Korean literature, culture, history and customs of the country. Centrally located at the fair, the Republic of Korea's 200-square-metre stand, a diverse programme of events including meetings with South Korean authors, writers and publishing industry representatives, book presentations and events promoting South Korean culture will be the focus of the upcoming edition of the fair. The Republic of Korea's appearance at the International Book Fair in Warsaw is organised by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea and the Korean Cultural Centre in Poland.
The Comics Warsaw Festival - organised by the Polish Comics Association since 2010 - is one of the largest comics festivals in Central Europe.
Festival Kryminalna Warszawa - a zone of meetings with authors of the best Polish crime novels at the ICCW and a prize for their authors - 6th edition of the Competition for the Grand Prix of the Festival Kryminalna Warszawa. Day of Reportage with the Ryszard Kapuściński Award - Organised by: City of Warsaw
The Ukrainian Book Salon - a project established to deepen the dialogue and understanding between Poles and Ukrainians. As part of the Ukrainian Book Salon, a national stand of Ukraine will be set up in a prominent place at the Fair - under the auspices and in cooperation with the Embassy of Ukraine in Poland and the Ukrainian Book Institute. In cooperation with Ukrainian partners, we will organise Polish-Ukrainian meetings with the participation of publishers, experts and authors from both markets.
Encounters with Science - an exhibition sector with an offer of academic publishers and a programme of meetings popularising various fields of knowledge, with the participation of experts and enthusiasts in mathematics, physics, history, literary studies, biology or environmental protection, among others. The Encounters with Science project was co-financed from state budget funds granted by the Minister of Education and Science in the framework of the Programme "Social Responsibility of Science II - Popularisation of Science".
