"Royal sweetness" - cooking workshop for adults and young people (15+)
We will make a namesake cake, inspired by 18th century recipes for sweet baked goods. We will provide all the necessary materials.
Conducting: Paulina Organiściak, Ewa Zagawa, education specialists at the Royal Łazienki Museum.
17.00-18.30, Terrace of the Palace on the Isle
"A day at the Lazienki Park of Stanislaw August" - a walk for adults and young people (14+). When Stanislaw August moved into the Baths, it was a small magnate's residence in the midst of a forest full of game. The monarch completely changed the immediate surroundings of the Baths (the bathing pavilion, which gave rise to the most beautiful object of the Royal Baths - the Palace on the Isle) to meet the requirements for a royal residence. During the walk, we will hear about how Stanisław August liked to spend his days at the Royal Łazienki, who accompanied him and where the guests closest to the king's heart stayed.
