The 2nd Bielański Passion Music Festival is a unique encounter with ancient and contemporary interpretations of Lenten songs. During this year's edition, we will hear traditional works from various regions of Poland, as well as musical arrangements of poetry by Jan Kochanowski or Mikołaj Sępa-Szarzyński. Outstanding artists will perform, taking us on a journey through the Passion tradition, from Kurpie songs to a recital inspired by the Book of Job.

The concert will feature poems by Jan Kochanowski, Mikołaj Sępa-Szarzyński and Jan of the Cross in musical arrangements by composers Filip Wiki and Adam Strug. The performers break the concert formula by engaging the audience in communal singing. The pieces are written in such a way that it is possible to join in after the first turn, regardless of one's level of vocal proficiency.

Adam Strug - singer and instrumentalist, songwriter, composer of theatre and film music, music curator and producer, director and scriptwriter of documentary films, radio and television journalist, populariser of traditional music, originator of the singing group Monodia Polska.
