Hania Rani & Ensemble present: Ghosts.
The internationally renowned Polish artist will perform as part of a special European tour.
"This tour is an attempt to realise an idea I've had in my head for a long time - to perform the entirety of the 'Ghosts' album live with a specially augmented band," says Hania Rani about the upcoming concerts in Europe. "Living in an atomised world and observing our attention span being reduced to a minimum, I see live performances as an opportunity to reconnect with our ability to experience things conveyed with greater gesture and extended time," she adds. As the artist admits, the recording of Ghosts, last year's nearly 70-minute album, was a deliberate artistic step taken "in direct opposition to the common trend of adapting art to a reality shaped by mass media". In March and April 2025, Hania Rani will perform concerts in selected European cities, during which the album will be arranged for a large ensemble, including string and brass sections. "Accompanied by new lights and sets, we will try to convey the intricate nature of this album, woven from hundreds of sounds, flavours and stories," Hania Rani announces.
