The exhibition of exotic trophies entitled 'Eye to Eye' presents more than 70 exotic animals living in three climate zones: circumpolar, temperate and subarctic. The exhibition, which has great cognitive and educational value, is one of the largest in our part of Europe.
The unique specimens were acquired on five continents. Most of them were donated to the Polish nation by Roman Hubert Hupałowski, a hunter and activist of the Małopolskie Hunting Society, organiser of, among other things, 26 hunting expeditions to Africa. Many of the species of animals on display are recorded in the Red Book of the International Union for Conservation of Nature.
The exhibition is complemented by everyday objects, essential for a long-distance expedition, and large-format photographs showing characteristic African and Asian landscapes. A touchscreen computer allows visitors to be transported into a virtual world of nature. Exotic regions of our globe evoke the sounds of savannah and tropical forest.
