The main hall of the permanent exhibition building is devoted to dynamic geology and presents the most important phenomena and processes shaping the face of the Earth. The aim of the exposition is to explain the course of processes influenced by external geological factors such as weathering, erosion, superficial mass movements, sedimentation and processes caused by internal geological factors occurring in the Earth's crust or interior. The effects of processes such as diastrophism, volcanism, plutonism and metamorphism are synthetically outlined. The exhibition is illustrated with a specially selected set of specimens of great didactic and display value.
