On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Renewal of the traditions of the Warsaw University of Technology, a ceremonial opening of the permanent exhibition 'The History of the Warsaw University of Technology' took place on 20 November 2015, combined with the opening of a new exhibition hall in the Main Building of the Warsaw University of Technology.
The exhibition includes memorabilia from the Preparatory School for the Polytechnic Institute, such as the Act of Appointment of Kajetan GarbiĆski as a member of the Royal Warsaw Society of the Friends of Science of 1824, bearing the signature of StanisĆaw Staszic, a portrait and bust of StanisĆaw Staszic. You can also see exhibits from the period of activity of the Polytechnic Institute named after Tsar Nicholas II - documents, photographs and a replica of a student's uniform. Among the memorabilia from the opening of the Polish-language Polytechnic in 1915 are congratulatory letters, the Provisional Statute of the Warsaw Polytechnic, and a medal commemorating the opening of the university.
In November 2019, the permanent exhibition was expanded with a new display:
HISTORY OF PHYSICS AT WARSAW POLYTECHNIC IN THE COLLECTION OF PROFESSOR WLODZIMIERZ ZYCH.
