Our collection of paintings is a collection of more than 450 works of art by Western European painters. The oldest paintings date from the 14th century, the youngest are from the 20th century.
The founders' aim was to bring together works of art to form a collection divided into different departments.
This is how the six thematic exhibition rooms were created:
- Portrait and Self-portrait
- Mythology
- Impressionism
- The Bible and the Saints
- The Blessed Virgin Mary and the Child Jesus
- Mother and Child.
