Exhibition "Alphabet of Romanesque Architecture"

Exhibition "Alphabet of Romanesque Architecture"

The exhibition explains in an accessible way the most important concepts and architectural terms related to early medieval stone buildings. It is based on examples of stone buildings from the lands of Poland dated from the 10th century to the mid-13th century. One of the most interesting objects is a copy of the Gniezno Doors with depictions of the life and martyrdom of Saint Adalbert, and a copy of the Plock Doors from the 12th century (today in the St. Sophia Cathedral in Veliky Novgorod).
