British band Delta Sleep will perform at two concerts in Poland. The masters of atmospheric fusion of indie rock and math rock will present themselves in Warsaw's VooDoo on 15 April, and a day later they will play in Wrocław's Łącznik club. Tickets for the Delta Sleep concerts are now available.

On 'Blue Garden', Delta Sleep's fourth studio album, which was released in October this year, the band digs through the overwhelming darkness of the world to find even a ray of light - resulting in what is arguably the heaviest album of the band's career. Moments of darkness and light, are interspersed with sweeping ambient and complex tempos that are inspired by punk, indie and electronica, but don't stray from math rock stylings.

The disc was recorded in late 2023 at Daft Studios in Belgium with Mark Roberts (Black Peaks, Toska, The Physics House Band). The band decided to take a collaborative approach to the new material, also introducing electronic samples and synths and drawing inspiration from the realms of fantasy and the real world, which permeated Delta Sleep's sound both sonically and visually. But it's the lyrical themes of 'Blue Garden' that really plunge it into darkness. Highlighted by the horrors set in Palestine, it serves as a form of catharsis for the sheer sense of helplessness.

On 2018's second full-length album 'Ghost City', guitar melodies soared over jazz rhythms, and the band presented the concept of living in a dystopian future where the world is ruled by big tech companies. "Spring Island" from 2021 proved to be an exorcism wrapped in sonic perfection. It touched on themes of global warming and the impact of humans on the planet, combining bleak lyrical content with complex rhythms. "Blue Garden" may be their bleakest collection of songs to date, but throughout the gloom Delta Sleep signals a sense that joy will return and hope lurks around the corner. "Try to breathe, there's nothing wrong with waiting patiently / See you when the sun sets".
