Flesz Dance Theatre "Dance People" - performance
Dance has accompanied mankind since the dawn of time, occupying a special place in cultures all over the world. It plays an important role in religious rituals, is an art form, expresses social identity and can also be a tool for therapy and personal development. Everyone can dance - although not everyone knows it yet.
The guiding principle of the FLESZ Dance Theatre's performance, taken from the statement of the director, Darek Sikorski - "Dance is a higher form of walking" - leads the viewer through an emotional performance of "Dance Persons".The performance shows how dance becomes a source of joy, emotional support and an escape from everyday life. It is the story of a dance group's dress rehearsal, in which various emotional states intertwine: euphoria, joy, uncertainty, breakdown or sadness. The relationships between the company members reveal their characters and emotional vulnerability - every movement, gesture and glance has a meaning here.
Join us for 'Dance Persons' - a moving performance by FLESZ Dance Theatre, styled as a documentary film about the lives of dancers, with narration by Krystyna Czubówna.

This year, we have planned a total of two weeks of attractions starring our artistic groups on the Scena na Smolnej. The groups will present their talents and skills, which they have been honing assiduously throughout the year under the watchful - and sensitive - eye of their instructors. What can be expected? What stage shows and entertainment can you expect? Between 4 and 17 June, theatre and cabaret lovers, as well as those who enjoy song and dance, will find something for themselves. It will be funny, moving, expressive and colourful. In three words: IT'S GOING TO BE FUN. Come along. Let a crowd of well-wishers and applause greet our artists.
You are cordially invited to Smolna 9 (entrance from Jerozolimskie Avenue)!
