An evening of carols with Zakopower and Sebastian Karpiel Bułecki's Band!
Two different, intertwining concerts during one evening. The programme consists of traditional Polish carols and Podhale pastorals, but anyone expecting only classical performances would be surprised. Songs in traditional highland acoustic performance (violin, Podhale basses, bagpipes) are mixed with those energetic, newly arranged. It will be possible to sing popular carols together with Sebastian and colleagues, including: "Gdy się Chrystus rodzi" or "Przybieżeli do Betlejem" but also listen to how carols were and still are carolled today in Podhale.
An additional flavour of the concert is provided by Christmas songs we know so well, such as "Lulaj że mi lulej" performed by Ms Ewa Bem in the film "Teddy Bear", or the song "Będzie kolęda" by Skaldowie, known from radio stations, or even "Feliz Navidad".
