Sextile are returning to Poland for 2 concerts to promote their new album "yes, please"! The group will perform on 28 June at Warsaw's VooDoo club and on 30 June at Krakow's Gwarek club.
Most bands, as soon as they feel the seed of something that could be called 'their style', begin to cling to it. The other flank is made up of artists who are constantly on the lookout, and these are undoubtedly Melissa Scaduto and Brady Keehn, the Los Angeles-based duo Sextile. The lust for life and love of many genres, from no wave to hardstyle, can be heard in every sound of their work, which is perfectly reflected in their debut album for Sacred Bones, 2023's 'Push'.
SEXTILE (USA / Sacred Bones Records) - dance/synth-punk
The release of Sextile's new album, entitled 'yes, please', is scheduled for 2 May. Combining anarchic-frenetic electro with raw, personal memories, the material is laden with enough powerful bass to destroy your speakers. Built on contrasts, the album has extremely vulnerable, even soul-exposing moments, while on the other hand it shows how much you can develop your sound once you discard all inhibitions and indulge in exaggeration. On 'yes, please', Sextile shows off her over-the-top confidence, which blossoms into danceable, intoxicating tracks.
