German Groza will play in Poland! The show prepared by the band from across our western border is a real treat for fans of atmospheric black metal. German Groza will come to Poland to present their emotional music, combining melancholic melodies, dark riffs and hypnotic atmosphere live in the spring! We will see him in as many as three cities: 15 May at PoznaĆ's 2Progs, 16 May at Warsaw's Hydrozagadka and 17 May at Krakow's Kwadrat. On stage, the band will be supported by Firtan, who will perfectly put the audience in the right mood with his dynamic and experimental sounds.
It's an atmosphere that absorbs you utterly, evoking waves of emotion - from sadness and melancholy to anger and inner cleansing. The band draws inspiration from the classic Norwegian scene of the 1990s, but adds a distinctive melodic shtick to their compositions that recalls the homegrown sounds of Fog. Their songs combine brutality and rawness with superb craftsmanship, and their compelling vocals, complex riffs and variable rhythm section make their live performances a real spectacle for discerning listeners.
The debut album 'Unified in Void', released in 2018, instantly won acclaim from fans and critics, becoming a milestone in the band's career. Subsequent releases, 2021's 'The Redemptive End' and the latest album, 2024's 'Nadir', demonstrate the band's continued growth and ambition as they consistently pursue their vision of deep, emotional black metal.
Firtan, who will appear on stage in front of Groza, have been setting the standard in the German extreme metal scene for over a decade. The band is distinguished by an intense sound that combines aggression with unique, experimental solutions. Not only guitars and drums can be heard in their music, but also cymbals, synthesisers and violins - both electric and acoustic. Their latest release, 2024's Ethos, is proof that Firtan are constantly pushing the boundaries of the genre and have no intention of slowing down.
