One does not know "Mazowsze" who has not seen the Kaleidoscope Barw Polski concert. It is not only a flagship concert, but also the quintessence of the ensemble's activity. Nothing quite captures the essence of "Mazowsze" like Kalejdoskop Barw Polski. The concert, which usually lasts around 2.5 hours, is a selection of songs and dances from all corners of Poland. They present the folklore of villages and towns, but are often national dances, which "Mazowsze" also has in its repertoire. During the concert, the audience can travel across Poland with the "Mazowsze" artists. They get to know not only the dances, chants and music characteristic of the individual regions, but also look at the beautifully made and decorated costumes which please the eye. It is the costumes that complete the picture of "Mazowsze" not only in the Kaleidoscope of the Colours of Poland, but in every programme of the ensemble. During this concert, the audience can wander with the ensemble through the whole of Poland. From Kashubia, through Kujawy, Zielona Góra, the Mazowsze region, the Lublin region, to the mountains and Silesia.
Certainly, many will be delighted by the krakowiak or oberek, the wonderful choreographies of the master of the Mazovian dance floor, Witold Zapala, or other creators of unique dance routines. And many will always remember the words of Mazovian hits such as Kukułeczka, Cyt, cyt, Furman or Ej, przeleciał ptaszek. And all this accompanied by the fantastic playing of the "Mazowsze" orchestra under the baton of director Jacek Boniecki. It is worth tasting the Kaleidoscope of the Colours of Poland and touching what is unique about "Mazowsze" - Polish culture and folklore in a version for every viewer. The discerning and educated one, as well as the one who encounters Polish music and culture for the first time.
