A unique concert resulting from an artistic meeting of two outstanding figures of Polish culture. On stage, we will see jazz pianist, accordionist, arranger and composer Andrzej Jagodziński and poet, painter and lyricist Jan Wołek. It is a project combining jazz with literature, reflection with sound of the highest order.
During the concert, we will hear Andrzej Jagodziński's compositions to texts by Jan Wołek (with the exception of a piece entitled Jasmin Lady, composed by Zbigniew Namysłowski), interpreted by outstanding artists of the Polish music scene.
This is music that moves, inspires and stays with the listener for a long time - full of energy, emotion and poetic depth. Each of the artists is a personality with a rich heritage and a unique musical sensitivity. Together, they create an intimate but expressive atmosphere in which words and music coexist on equal terms.
