Musical pieces are interwoven here with lyrics that build a story of love, happiness and drama....
In addition to Piaf's great hits, well-known songs from the repertoire of Yves Montand, Charles Aznavour, Georges Moustaki and Gilbert Bécaud, among others, will be heard. The songs will be performed by vocalists in French and Polish, in solo versions and also in duets. An undeniable asset of the concert are the new, interesting arrangements by Mariusz Dubrawski, referring to the tradition of French song.
Justyna Bacz and Chris Schittulli have made numerous artistic endeavours in French and Polish song, building bridges between the two cultures. Their concerts are always wonderfully received by audiences and critics alike. Justyna Bacz has created and directed concert-performances of, among others, 'Dalida - the song of love' and 'Femmes, or women', which premiered at Warsaw's Kamienica Theatre. Chris Schittulli has realised, among others, a project dedicated to Charles Aznavour and, more recently, the project " Przybora Wasowski à Paris".
