We would like to invite you to a concert by Joanna Bieńkowska, performing under the artistic pseudonym YANA, an excellent instrumentalist and composer.

In her work, the artist combines the sound of the piano and string instruments with the sounds of analogue synthesisers and electronics. She draws inspiration from nature and everyday observations, juxtaposing the romantic and lyrical with the harshness and imperfections of electronic instruments. In April 2022, she self-released her debut album 'Solace', which has reached over 2 million plays to date. Her second album entitled 'Daydreamer' was released in October 2024 on OPIA Community.

YANA collaborates with visual artists, including Malaysian painter Sylvia Ong, for whom she has created songs that form the soundtrack to a series of her paintings. She also composed the soundtrack for two short films by director and cinematographer Marianna Korman, presented at international film festivals: Tofifest Film Festival and Camerimage Festival. In May 2022, she opened an event with her concert for the release of a new album by Robot Koch, a respected German electronic music producer and composer, representative of the modern classical genre. In the summer of 2022. YANA promoted her debut album by performing as one of the artists invited to the biggest concert tour in Poland - Męskie Granie. In April 2023, she played as part of Piano Day at a concert at Funkhaus Berlin and as part of the Sea You Music Showcase at the Gdansk Shakespeare Theatre. In April 2024, she released the single 'All ALone', promoting the first official compilation album OPIA Community - a release curated and conceived by Icelandic producer and multi-instrumentalist, Ólafur Arnalds.
