One of the biggest guitar bands of the turn of the century, P.O.D., will be performing at Progresja in Warsaw on 18 April! Get ready for an evening of hits such as 'Alive', 'Youth of the Nation', 'Southdown' and many more from the Americans' catalogue!
The band P.O.D. (Payable on Death) formed in the early 1990s in San Diego, California, and initially built their style on the then-popular fusion of metal, rock and rap. The breakthrough for the band came in 1999 with the release of their third platinum-covered album, 'The Fundamental Elements of Southdown'. With the singles "Southdown" and "Rock the Party", P.O.D. made their way to the living room, where they established themselves for good two years later with the release of the album "Satellite". The tracks "Alive" and "Youth of the Nation" were among the most played on MTV in 2001 and can still be heard on various radio stations after almost 25 years. The turn of the millennium was when the band found its style, which it continues to develop to this day. Proof that the Americans have not settled on their laurels, but are consistently trying to push their boundaries with each material, is the album 'Veritas', which saw the light of day last May.
They have established their position with numerous concerts, including at Ozzfest and Download festivals, and by sharing the stage with bands such as Metallica, Slayer, Tool, Deftones and many others. Energy, great groove, big choruses - these are what you can definitely expect from P.O.D.'s performance at Progresja in Warsaw!
