He was born in 1979 in Osaka and did not pay much attention to music as a child. Unlike his father, who was a fan of classic rock like Deep Purple or Led Zeppelin. As an adult, Yousuke began to discover what really interested him in the world of sound. From his fascination with The Prodigy to Japanese pop and experimental music, his taste began to develop quite late in life, but immediately took a turn in different, somewhat eclectic directions. He took his first steps behind the console in 2008. Thanks to being spotted by his mentor, DJ Nobu, he quickly became a recognisable figure on the local scene, but for many years he treated DJing as a weekend hobby. By day, he worked in construction. That was until 2016. The now 46-year-old Yousuke Yukimatsu is the sensei of DJing and the essence of what it is all about - the ability to gain the trust of a crowd and lead them into the unknown, while delivering a whole template of unforgettable experiences.
