Poland's much-loved Clan of Xymox will be performing two concerts in Poland at the beginning of the year! We invite you to meet the legends of darkwave on 7 February at the Tama in Poznań and the day after at the Kwadrat club in Kraków.
If on the subject of gothic music we are talking about its legends, then Clan of Xymox is unquestionably the band that has to appear in this group. Since 1981, the group fronted by Ronny Moorings has strengthened its position in the annals of the genre with each successive album (and these have been released by, for example, the cult 4AD, PolyGram, Metropolis and now Trisol). It was their music that legendary presenter John Peel first described as 'darkwave', while singles from the last two decades of the 20th century topped the billboard charts and found their way into rotation on MTV. Clan of Xymox's new album, now in its eighteenth year, entitled 'Exodus', was released on 7 June. With Moorings' upcoming gigs with the crew, we can expect a cross-sectional set that will satisfy almost every gothic soul!
