"Carmina Burana (Blink of an Eye)" is an event realised as part of the second edition of the BMW Art Club project. The future is art. Carl Orff's piece performed by the Choir and Orchestra of the Grand Theatre - National Opera is presented in an innovative visual setting by Boris Kudlička - the artistic director of this year's project. The idea of the BMW Art Club is to cooperate with leading institutions and cultural creators in the mission to create innovative events in which art meets new technologies and to reflect on the future of the world rapidly changing under their influence. In Carmina Burana (The Blink of an Eye), Boris Kudlička juxtaposes Carl Orff's classical music with a new vision; in it, universal artistic values are shown as a bridge connecting the past with the unknown, hopeful yet fearful reality of tomorrow.
