The stage action takes place on a film set. The performance is framed by the story of Mr Lenska, a cameraman from a poem by Jan Brzechwa, who is trying to make a film. The protagonists are characters from poems by popular Polish poets: Jan Brzechwa, Julian Tuwim, Maria Konopnicka, Henryk Sienkiewicz and Ignacy Krasicki.

The audience has the chance to take a peek behind the scenes of the film world and follow the adventures from the set. The set for the performance is formed by the dressing rooms of the actors, who are prepared for their performances before the eyes of the audience. The set changes for individual scenes and costume changes also take place in front of the audience's eyes.
