BRIDEAR
Formed in Fukuoka, Japan in 2012, BRIDEAR is one of Japan's leading hard rock/heavy metal bands with a high profile on the world stage.
With influences ranging from German metal legends Helloween to British prog-pop pioneers Muse, this all-female quintet combines elements of power metal, speed metal and melodic touches of j-pop to create a sound unlike any contemporary band from Japan.
After the release of their first single in 2012, BRIDEAR's popularity continued to grow with the release of their first EP 'Overturn the Doom' and another hit single and popular video 'Light in the Dark'. International audiences soon discovered the video online, which brought huge publicity and attracted passionate fans from across the hard rock/metal world. Following the release of BARYTE's first full-length album in 2016, the band toured all over Japan, gaining a reputation for their excellent craftsmanship and captivating live performances.
In 2017, BRIDEAR performed in Europe for the first time, promoting its HELIX EP.
Celebrating their 2019 album Expose Your Emotions, BRIDEAR ventured overseas again to perform in London at METAL MATSURI, the first all-J-metal festival outside of Japan. This stunning performance won over more international fans and brought them the attention of the press in their home country.
In 2021, BRIDEAR joined UK label Setsuzoku Records. The Bloody Bride album became BRIDEAR's first official international release, receiving outstanding reviews in the international music media and drawing the attention of publications such as Metal Hammer and Guitar Player magazine.
In autumn 2021, BRIDEAR became the first artist from Japan to tour internationally since the disruption of the COVID-19 pandemic. The tour, which included England, Scotland, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and France, was a triumphant return to the international stage, demonstrating the band's courage and will to overcome adversity and reclaim live music in the 'Brave New World'.
May 2022 saw the international release of Aegis of Athena, an 11-track album that is a fusion of traditional heavy metal, progressive arrangements and addictive melodies. In February 2023, BRIDEAR released Aegis of London...LIVE!, the band's first live album, recorded in London during the "Decide to Survive" European tour. The album was mixed and mastered by Fredrik Nordström (At the Gates, In Flames, Arch Enemy, Dimmu Borgir) at the famous Studio Fredman in Gothenburg, Sweden. It is a testament to the live energy and power of the band.
With ambitions at the highest level ever, BRIDEAR then headed to Gothenburg to record another album with Fredrik in March 2024. Born Again was released worldwide on Psychomanteum Records on 28 June 2024 and was immediately recognised as the band's crowning achievement to date. Gaining widespread acclaim as BRIDEAR's best album, media around the world declared it a masterpiece and a breakthrough not only for BRIDEAR, but also for Japanese metal.
BRIDEAR embarked on its first world tour in October 2024 and will continue until 2025. Starting in Australia, the band will perform in more countries and cities than ever before, with shows in Japan, Europe, the UK and North America.

LORDS OF THE TRIDENT is an American heavy metal band from Madison, Wisconsin. The five-piece line-up is known for its mix of classic, power and modern progressive metal, combining high-pitched vocals, complex instrumentals, a hilarious sense of humour and an elaborate fantasy storyline to give energetic live performances. The band appears on stage in armour and costumes, moving into battle!
Since their formation in 2008, LORDS OF THE TRIDENT have been crafting one of the angriest and most faithful forms of power metal over the years. Their latest longplayer, The Offering, continues the band's legacy of sickly pure metal majesty. The Offering, a spectacular concept album, became the band's first international release, distributed in Europe and Japan through Psychomanteum Records and partners. It is a masterpiece that caught the attention of the supreme kings of metal, showcasing incredible riffs, progressive showmanship and mature songwriting, while celebrating unruliness and fun.
