Born and raised in Brooklyn, but with roots in Vancouver, Canada - the duo Bob Moses will make a special visit to Warsaw on 10 May! The authors of such hits as "Desire" with ZHU, "Inner Light" with Elderbrook or the solo "Tearing me up" at one audiovisual club show in the capital.

Band members Jimmy Vallance and Tom Howie knew each other from the Vancouver high school they both attended, and were brought together by their shared love of pop-punk bands such as Rancid and Green Day. Adulthood found them both in Brooklyn, where Vallance was recording Berlin-style techno and Howie was active in the singer-songwriter music field. Both felt musically blocked and wanted something new, which was solved by a simple fusion of their styles, creating something cool and decidedly 'post-club'. Named after the urban planner who designed modern New York, they became Bob Moses and joined the Scissor & Thread label in 2012, releasing the EP *Hand to Hold*. Another EP *Far from the Tree* was released in 2013, and the following year the band released the EP *First to Cry* on Domino. In 2015, the label collected all of the duo's early EPs in the compilation *All in All* and released their debut album *Days Gone By*.
