A musical based on Tim Burton's 1988 cult film with an unforgettable title role by Michael Keaton. In Poland, the film is better known by its translated title Beetle Juice. It is the story of an atypical late married couple, the Maitlands, who were killed in an accident. This did not prevent them from returning to the world in the form of ghosts. The Maitlands think nothing of moving out of their house, even though a new family has already occupied it. In an attempt to chase her away, they enlist the help of Beetlejuice, a chaotic and eccentric ghost who has his own slightly crazy plans.

The creators of this musical adaptation have perfectly brought Burton's mix of quirk and comic horror to the stage. But 'Beetlejuice' is not only a sentimental journey into the imaginative cinema of the late 1980s and early 1990s, it is also a touchingly painted confusion of a teenage girl who has to cope with the loss of her mother. The American original of the show was nominated in eight categories for the Tony Awards, the theatrical equivalent of the Oscars.
