'Battle of Thrones. A Musical Talent Show' is an original production by Syrena. Jacek Mikołajczyk, the theatre's deputy artistic director, is responsible for the libretto and direction, and the musical's composer is Syrena's music director Tomasz Filipczak.

The musical about the elected kings will be in the convention of a pop talent show. Its protagonists will perform hits in the styles characteristic of their countries of origin. For example, Sigismund III, descended from the Swedish Vasa dynasty, will sing a song evoking the aesthetics of Abba, while Augustus the Strong will combine the metal sounds of Rammstein and a Mozart aria in one song. The show's judges will be four foreign wives, sisters and mistresses of Polish rulers, and the battle of the kings will be hosted by two priests - a reference to the era when representatives of the clergy were the main commentators on the public life of the Rzeczpospolita.
