Michał Basista will perform works by Fryderyk Chopin on one of the world's finest concert pianos, the Yamaha CFX.
Michał Basista - started his musical education at the age of 4. He is currently studying at the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Kraków under the supervision of Milena Kędra, PhD. He is the winner of more than 60 national and international piano competitions. He has collaborated with the Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra and the Lviv Chamber Orchestra. The artist has received scholarships from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage and the National Children's Fund. His latest success is qualifying for the 1st stage of the XIX International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition 2025.

Every five years, the eyes of the whole world turn to Warsaw. Already in October, the Fryderyk Chopin International Piano Competition begins - not only one of the oldest and most prestigious music competitions in the world, but also a symbol of excellence in the world of classical music
As many as 641 male and female pianists from 58 countries applied for this year's edition. From among them, the jury selected 85 artists who were qualified for the first stage. Among them - 13 representatives of Poland!
