Are you interested in creation, do you have a limitless imagination, do you like to draw ?
Join us for the next series of workshops on the basics of graphic design and comics for young people aged 10-15. The classes - 1.5 h - will take place periodically on four Thursdays in May. Cost for four meetings: PLN 200/person
The first class will be devoted to the creation of the storyline, the second is character design.
At subsequent meetings, however, young people will create their own comic strip based on a text they have made up. New participants will learn what a comic strip is and how to create one. They will learn about the fascinating history of pictorial stories and comics trivia. Participants will improve their drawing skills, try out different ways and techniques of drawing a comic strip, and learn how to create short stories. They will learn about structure - frames and the meaning of comic clouds and the language of comics.
The workshop will be led by Julia Jemielita. Graduate of the Wojciech Gerson State Secondary School of Visual Arts in Warsaw. She graduated from the school with the title Technician of Fine Arts (one of the best diplomas in the specialisation Media Realisation.
