In a new intercontinental collaboration, acclaimed Swiss percussionist Florian Arbenz joins the brilliant Dutch Hammond organ virtuoso Arno Krijger and legendary American saxophonist Greg Osby to present the ninth album in the Conversation series, entitled 'Targeted'. Arbenz first collaborated with Osby in 1998, and although their professional relationship spans more than 25 years, this is their first project together involving the Hammond organ! Osby, who grew up in St Louis, was surrounded by Hammond sounds from an early age, but had never used it in his own music before. As a result, this trio is deeply rooted in the jazz tradition while boldly exploring new musical paths. Krijger is one of the few Hammond specialists who can play the bass part perfectly with his feet! This gives him more freedom to shape the Hammond sound with built-in effects, making his playing more like an orchestra than a solo musician! In addition to the extraordinary sonic experience, watching Arno Krijger in action is a real feast for the eyes! The jazz conversation continues!
