We would like to invite you to a concert by the winner of the Fryderyk Award in the category Jazz Album of the Year 2024 - Andrzej Święs Trio!
"Flying Lion" is actually the name of a trio founded and led by bassist Andrzej Święs, who is also the author of the compositions played by the band. He invited two outstanding musicians to collaborate: Rafał Sarnecki on guitar and Paweł Dobrowolski on drums.
The music contained on the bassist's debut album entitled. "Flying Lion", features ten unique tracks that represent a wide stylistic and sonic palette. From ad libitum forms, to rhythmically organised structures, to free improvisation, the music seamlessly blends different musical styles to create a one-of-a-kind listening experience.
Each composition is a journey in itself, evoking different emotions, and together they form a coherent narrative.
