On the occasion of Easter, we invite you to the Fryderyk Concert Hall for a unique series of candlelit concerts.

In the beautiful interior of the Fryderyk Concert Hall, lit only by candlelight, we will listen to Fryderyk Chopin's compositions performed by extraordinary artists - outstanding musicians of our time.

The concerts are two-part recitals lasting approximately 60 minutes, based on the idea of salon music gatherings popular in the 19th century. During the interval of the concert, you will be treated to a glass of sparkling wine.

Please arrive 15 minutes before the concert.

Alicja Czarnecka - pianist, born on 7 October 2000, is a graduate of the Grażyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Academy of Music in Łódź. She also studied in Germany, at the F. Liszt University of Music in Weimar.

She has taken part in many concerts, festivals and competitions. She has participated in courses, having had the opportunity to work and improve her skills under the guidance of such pianists as Prof. Andrzej Jasiński, Prof. Philippe Giusiano, Prof. Dmitry Alexeev and Prof. Pavel Gililov.

Winner of, among others, 3rd prize at the 1st Regional Chopin Competition "My Chopin" 2010, 3rd prize at the 2nd Regional Monographic Competition "Master Twardowski" 2011, 2nd prize at the 3rd Monographic Competition "Two Sides of the Soul" 2012, 1st prize at the 4th Regional Monographic Competition "20th Century Classics" 2013, 2nd prize at the 8th National Accordion Music Festival in Solec-Zdrój in the category of chamber ensembles 2016, 3rd prize at the 5th ODIN International Music Competition 2020.

She is a laureate of the Award of the President of the City of Puławy in the category "Puławy Talent" 2013. She was also a scholarship holder of the scholarship of the Marshal of the Lubelskie Voivodeship for people involved in artistic creation, dissemination of culture and care of monuments in 2015.

The "Fryderyk" Concert Hall is a place of intimate meetings with the music of Fryderyk Chopin, in the style of 19th century salon meetings. Here, in the heart of Warsaw's Old Town, you will spend an unforgettable time in one of the most beautiful concert halls. A magnificent Steinway grand piano, crystal chandeliers, mirrors, beautiful stuccowork and an atmosphere of unforced elegance, as well as performances by superb pianists, will make you want to return here.
The concert is a two-part recital lasting approximately 60 minutes, based on the idea of salon music gatherings popular in the 19th century. During the interval of the concert, guests are treated to a glass of sparkling wine. The concert is performed by extraordinary pianists whose names are known throughout Europe and the world - professors of the University of Music in Warsaw and winners of international piano competitions, graduates of prestigious music academies: Joanna Ławrynowicz, Anna Kubicz, Maciej Poliszewski, Maria Korecka-Soszkowska, Robert Skiera, Kayo Nishimizu.
The programme will include his most famous compositions. We will hear, among others, the Etude in C minor, Op. 10 No. 12, called the Revolutionary, the Polonaise in A flat major, Op. 53, the so-called 'Heroic', and the Prelude in D flat major, Op. 28, No. 16, called the Rain Prelude.
