Master of Classical Soul, Alexis Ffrench live in Warsaw!
Acclaimed composer and pianist Alexis Ffrench, a pioneer of the 'Classical Soul' genre with more than 1 billion plays of his music, will perform on 1 March 2025 at the New Miodowa stage in Warsaw. Polish audiences will have the opportunity to experience his latest project, Classical Soul Volume One.
Bringing the piano into mainstream music, Ffrench has gained worldwide recognition, performing at high-profile events such as the 2023 coronation concert of King Charles III, which attracted an audience of more than 18 million, and hosting his show on Apple Music. The artist is not only known for his performances on some of the world's biggest stages, but also for his commitment to music education and fan interaction. He hosts national music workshops where he shares his knowledge and passion, making music accessible to all.
His latest single 'The Way It Was' draws inspiration from his late father's record collection and combines the depth and emotion of his childhood spent on soul rhythms with his classical abilities to create a track that is nostalgic yet timeless and uplifting. The track marks the first step in Ffrench's big musical year, and the album Classical Soul Volume One promises to be one of the artist's most honest and purposeful projects to date.
The album aims to redefine the classical narrative, creating a majestic expression of pride, love, nostalgia and healing elixir. Creating a modern mix tape, a classical-soul symphony for the 21st century, Ffrench builds on the "soaring symphonic pillars of 'Black Ivy'" with echoes of soul classics.
