It's a phenomenon that's simultaneously funny, dramatic, inspiring, and destructive, and above all, picturesque, making the stage a perfect place to try to understand this syndrome. In this performance, the author and director create a brilliant, moving, and humorously unpredictable discourse. She discusses ADHD without taboos—with detachment, emotion, and artistic precision. This is theater that entertains, moves, and provokes thought. "I wanted to make people aware that there is a phenomenon that provides a key to understanding many mechanisms of our behavior. This is all the more important because doctors are generally still skeptical of ADHD in adults. Therefore, the credibility of this text was very important to me. One review of the play described it as an improvisation, a happening. Nothing could be further from the truth—the text is spoken verbatim on stage, and creating the impression of improvisation is the artistic challenge of the production."
