This time, the most beautiful and moving melodies of world cinema will resound under the Planetarium dome in a unique visual setting. During the concert, you'll hear compositions by John Williams, Hans Zimmer, and Ludovic Einaudi, known from films such as "Schindler's List," "Harry Potter," "Inception," "Gladiator," and "The Untouchables."
Live music will be accompanied by live visualizations projected onto the Planetarium dome. It's an evening full of excitement, cinematic memories, and relaxation.
About the artist:
Martyna Kułakowska – a graduate of the Academy of Music in Gdańsk in the class of Professor Bogdan Czapiewski and Dr. Karol Garwoliński. A pianist with the Polish National Ballet, she earned a Master of Musical Arts degree from her alma mater. She graduated with distinction in piano from the class of Mariusz Trzebniak at the Music High School in Gdańsk. Previously, she was a student of Medea Berianidze at the School of Music in Słupsk.
She is a laureate of the Young Stage Award at the 50th Polish Piano Festival in Słupsk, an award from the Silesia Institution for the Promotion and Popularization of Music in Katowice, second place at the International Interpretation Competition with music by Jaime Reis in Lisbon, and, with a piano trio, first place at the National Chamber Ensemble Auditions in Warsaw organized by the Center for Artistic Education. She has performed three times with the Polish Philharmonic Sinfonia Baltica in Słupsk and at the Casa da Musica in Porto. She is passionate about performing contemporary music. She participated in the prestigious International Summer Courses for New Music in Darmstadt with Nicolas Hodges. She has recorded contemporary music for Radio Gdańsk and the Gdańsk Foundation for Creators and Performers of Contemporary Music. She is a member of the Polish Society for Contemporary Music.
