A wide instrumentarium that includes both traditional instruments and contemporary electronics creates the group's unique style. The combination of soothing melodies and explosive improvisations accounts for the band's unparalleled character, which retains an unpredictable exuberance despite its approachability.

Ola Błachno's music is a fresh take on jazz: energetic and honest in expression. It is difficult to clearly define her work, as it is a combination of modern jazz with influences from musicals and songwriting. Rich in vocal and instrumental improvisations, the music is complemented by personal lyrics, which are a very important element of it. During the concert as part of the Wilanów Royal Jazz Festival, we will hear songs from her first album 'How to be me' as well as newer compositions and arrangements by the artist.
Ola's music is like herself: reflective and lively. This is exemplified by the songs on the album: jazz ballads ('Perfection') and songs full of dynamism and expression ('How to be me'). Many of the compositions and lyrics were written in Berlin, where Ola Błachno completed her studies in jazz vocal performance at the Universität der Künste Berlin (Jazz-Institut Berlin), followed by jazz composition and arranging under the tutelage of musicians such as Judy Niemack, Greg Cohen and Thorsten Wollmann. The terms that apply to the singer and her music are directness, energy, sincerity, openness and courage - aspects that both man and art need in order to breathe and to breathe a spark in another person. The entire concert is tied together and complemented by the musical artistry of the ensemble, in which modern jazz, vocal and instrumental improvisations and what is one of the most important elements of music - singing melodies - meet.
The band leader's original compositions are a combination of lively music and reflective lyrics, energetic improvisations and thoughtful, even intimate stories, which are saturated with personal experiences of living in the multicoloured Berlin.
