The Cultural Centre in Piaseczno, Cheese is Cheese and Winopasja Piaseczno invite you to the first 'Cheese and Wine Festival' on 17 and 18 May.

Local cheesemakers and cheeses from all over Europe will take care of our palates and pairings with glasses of wine. Cow, sheep, goat, buffalo. From Warsaw, Łódź, Podhale, Masuria, Kashubia and Kociewie. From the Netherlands, Italy, France, Greece, Spain and the whole of the Alps, with Switzerland at the forefront. Piaseczno will be visited by a dozen or so Polish winemakers with several dozen labels. There will be dry, semi-dry and sweet wines. Red, white and rosé. Winemakers from the Podkarpackie, Małopolskie, Lubelskie, Świętokrzyskie, Kujawsko-Pomorskie and Mazowieckie voivodeships will arrive. There will also be cheese gastronomy - pasta straight from a 40 kilo circle of parmigiano reggiano, raclette sandwiches, Greek sets with halloummi and Italian sets with fried provolone, mac and cheese, cheese soup and many other delicious dishes. Plus special guests to round off the event - Japanese knives, chutneys and dips for cheese and meat or whiskey straight from Scottish barrels.

But that's not all! On stage, you will hear many interesting facts about Polish and European wine and cheese making, while on Saturday - on the occasion of the European Night of Museums - there will be three presentations telling the history of cheese, wine and whiskey. Each lecture will be accompanied by a tasting. The whole festival will begin on Saturday with the opening of a 40-kilometre-long wheel of several-year-old parmigiano reggiano cheese! And on Saturday evening we invite you to a dance party with live music at 7 p.m. in the first hour, which will be led by the local Paso Dance Academy from Józefosław!
