Zaprojektowany przez Zdzisława Mączeńskiego, odznacza się autentyzmem oraz znakomitą dekoracją – zarówno rzeźbiarską, jak i w zakresie wyposażenia wnętrz. EDD to doskonała okazja, by zwiedzić legendarny gmach, będący siedzibą MEN, a częściowo także oddziału Muzeum Niepodległości. To właśnie przy Szucha 25 w czasie niemieckiej okupacji była siedziba Gestapo, gdzie brutalnie przesłuchiwano więźniów Pawiaka.
