CONVERSATION OVER A RECOVERED BREAKFAST
Things we don't want to know about... and it's worth it
These are the subjects we seem to know, but which often escape us or we simply prefer not to look at - out of convenience, out of guilt, or perhaps out of a lack of faith that something can be changed?
Join us for a conversation and breakfast, where together with people from the worlds of culture, art, science and politics, we will look at issues at the intersection of culture and ecology - the uncomfortable, the difficult, as well as the inspiring and the hopeful. We will consider what culture can do for ecology, how to support and promote more pro-environmental attitudes, what we can really change and, if so, how, and what practices, actions and ideas can help the arts and culture community today.
We will meet on the stage of the Amphitheatre, with a foodsharing breakfast and minimalist musical accompaniment performed live by Jack Lachowicz (L.A.S), divided into 4 rounds:
- Green cultural production - experiences and dreams
- Local ecologies - co-creation, co-responsibility, co-control
- Invisible footprints - digital ecology
- Empowerment and ecology - grassroots initiatives, new collaborations and policies
This will be a space not only to talk, but also to think together about how to make change possible.
The meeting will be moderated by Aleksandra Jach - art curator, facilitator and coach, who has been working at the interface of culture and ecology for years, collaborating with public institutions, social organisations and business.
