The cultural heart of Targówek - DK Zacisze is a unique venue for open-air summer screenings. Its green courtyard turns into a cinema space in the summer. On Sunday evenings, a sky full of stars stretches out over the viewers - both in the films and in the firmament. Within a few minutes' walk, there are local cafés and restaurants. It's worth coming early to discover nearby gastro offerings.
The Summer Open-Air Cinema runs from 29 June to 31 August 2025, with screenings starting at 9.30 p.m. in June and July and 9.00 p.m. in August. The repertoire is a mix of blockbusters and ambitious titles. From Japanese animation "Princess Mononoke" by Hayao Miyazaki, through the Cannes award-winning romantic drama "Bouillon and Other Passions" (2023), to the controversial "Kill it and leave this city" by Mariusz Wilczynski and the biographical documentary "Amy" by Asif Kapadia. Bródno Park is the green pride of Bródno - a place that bustles with life all year round. In winter, an ice rink awaits the residents, in summer picnics, festivals and other outdoor events, including a cinema. It is here, between the alleys and the pond, that a large screen is being rolled out. This initiative not only promotes culture, but also integrates the local community.
At this location, Targówek's cloud cinema runs from 29 June to 31 August 2025, at 21:30 (June-July) and in August already at 21:00. Film Sunday in Bródno Park is a ready-made scenario for a budget-friendly, successful end to the holiday weekend.
The 2025 film line-up is a real mix of blockbusters, documentaries, dramas and independent cinema. Opening with the acclaimed hit "Perfect Days". The touching moral cinema 'My Wonderful Life', the Oscar-winning 'The Unbearable Burden of Great Talent' and the award-winning arthouse offering 'The Connoisseur'. A cinematic shtick! Romantic Beach is a Vistula River haven of peace and greenery away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. An urban beach, but with a wild atmosphere - surrounded by vegetation, with wooden gazebos, deckchairs, picnic spots and comfortable access to the water. In the summer, you can count on a variety of outdoor events here, including concerts, picnics and, of course, an open-air cinema that attracts residents from all over the city. Summer screenings at Romantic Beach take place as part of the Film Capital of the Summer. It is Poland's largest film series featuring free cinema in the open air. For two decades, FSL has been enlivening Warsaw's parks, squares and beaches by integrating the community around cinema.

A thematic cinema dedicated to the works of Pedro Almodóvar is this year's proposal from the Białołęka Cultural Centre. BOK is famous for its ambitious and varied cultural offer. It is mainly enjoyed by the local community, although residents of other districts of Warsaw are also welcome. Screenings are held at the car park in front of Cinema Głębocka 66. As with other summer cinemas, deckchairs are sold out on a first-come, first-served basis. It is therefore worth coming a little earlier.
The programme included three shows - one each in June, July and the last in Sunday 24 August Films saturated with emotion, colour and Almodóvar's characteristic sense of drama. The award-winning picture crowning the cycle "Parallel mothers' is sure to appeal to lovers of engaged cinema. It is the story of two women who give birth on the same day and their fates intertwine in an emotional story about motherhood, identity and historical memory. What awaits you here is an open-air cinema with a truly Spanish temperament from one of the most expressive contemporary directors.

On the 19th floor NYX Hotel Warsaw is located Ether bar with an open terrace and a capital, panoramic view of the illuminated city and the nearby Varso Tower. It is an excellent setting for evening film screenings. The hotel's rooftop cinema lived to see another edition including three Sundays summer season 2025, starting in June and ending on 10 August with a screening of 'Substance'. A provocative body horror starring Demi Moore in a daring role, it mercilessly exposes the modern obsession with youth and bodily perfection. The other titles in the series are also high-profile 2024 titles.
Important practical information on attending the screening. The condition for participation is the purchase of a cocktail from the short menu (free popcorn) and collection of headphones, which are issued from 8 p.m. The number of seats is limited, no reservations are possible. The screening starts at 9 p.m. "First come, first served", so come early to take part in the unusual formula silent cinema on the hotel roof.

Land and Water is a little riverside paradise worth visiting when exploring the Boulevards on the Vistula. Here you can count on relaxation, good food and interesting cultural events during the day and evening. One of these is the Sunday summer cinema held on three dates, once a month at 21:00.
July's title is Wild Stories, directed by Damián Szifron. In six brilliant, absurdist novellas, the Argentinian black comedy shows how fine a line separates everyday life from fury, revenge and madness. In August, a screening of Pedro Almodóvar's '3,000 Years of Longing'. This is a visually stunning tale of loneliness, desires and stories, full of tension and unusual twists. 7 September closes the season with the film 'On the Rise'.
