In August, the Sejm will once again open its gardens to film lovers - with the launch of the next edition of the Sejm Film Summer, a summer open-air cinema organised by the Chancellery of the Sejm. This is a unique opportunity to watch a film outdoors in an unusual setting - on the grounds of the Sejm gardens on Wiejska Street in Warsaw.

On each of the three Saturdays in August, a comfortable cinema area, a friendly atmosphere and carefully selected repertoire will await the audience. The organisers invite everyone to attend - the event is free and open to the public. - All you need to do is come to the Sejm gardens from Wiejska Street and enjoy the green space overlooking the Polish Parliament.

All the films were awarded by the European Film Academy. Poland's presidency of the Council of the EU came to an end in June, so we tried to select films that would be united by the European Film Academy Award.

Prior to that, a guided tour of the Sejm is available from 18.00. The screenings will start at around 7.30 pm and are preceded by short talks with filmmakers, actors, cultural influencers, film journalists, etc.

All persons entering the building are asked to show proof of identity and submit to a pyrotechnic check.

The screenings take place on selected Saturdays in August, starting at 7.30pm.
