On 4 and 5 July, the heart of Warsaw will be transformed into a vibrant place of meetings, music and culture. Plac Centralny - which is the new, green version of part of Plac Defilad - will invite the residents of the capital to a unique Festival of the New Centre of Warsaw. Admission to all events is free.

The festival is an opportunity to present the New Centre of Warsaw to Varsovians as an attractive, open and functional space that is conducive to both active leisure and relaxation. New life has been given to the space at the level of Złota Street - the rebuilt part of Plac Defilad, now known as Plac Centralny. This space, formerly vast and concrete, has been transformed into a greener, more intimate space created for meetings, culture and recreation.

Days filled with attractions
The evening of 4 July will open with a concert by Mietalla Walus (18:45, stage), followed by a performance by Marcin Masecki & Boleros with their "Slavic Latino" project at 20:00. After the musical excitement, from 21:15, participants will be able to take part in silent disco on the bandstand in Central Square.

In turn, 5 July will begin at 12:00 with the city game "Warsaw chillout" - a family game played throughout the square. At the same time, a morning yoga session will take place on the grass (you need to bring your own mat), and at 1 p.m. the Body Art Theatre will perform "The Clowns" on the grandstand, and an hour later the square will be enlivened by the energetic "Samba for a Good Day" parade performed by Ritmo Bloco. At 3 p.m., Lalka Theatre will appear on the grandstand with its performance of 'Imagination', and the accompanying theatre workshops will begin in the tent. A second samba show is scheduled for 16:00, and at 17:00 there will once again be the opportunity to practise yoga on the grass.

The evening part will begin at 6:00 pm with a concert by Bartek Wąsik, followed by Skubas on stage at 7:00 pm and Natalia Nykiel at 8:00 pm. At 21:15 a dance with the Warsaw Band from Targówek will begin.

The day will conclude at 22:00 with two parallel attractions: a silent disco on the bandstand and a performance of 'Collectors of Sighs' by the A3 Theatre - with lanterns, presented in motion across the square.

The evening events will be complemented by the illumination of the façade of the Palace of Culture and Science, which will create an impressive backdrop and emphasise the festival character of the event. There will also be a stand with Warsaw tap water, available to all participants.
