There is no summer without Lada, there is no Capital City without Lada, so we are back with our (anti-)festival in a familiar formula, i.e. with non-obvious concert line-ups on summer Thursdays.

Lado in the City is the capital's inclusive (anti-)alternative music festival organised by the Plan B Association.
Our series began life in 2010 as a weekly showcase of female and male performers associated with the Lado ABC label, but with each subsequent instalment it moved away from its source, eventually evolving into a platform for the promotion of the most interesting artistic individuals from Poland and abroad - coming from diverse backgrounds and creating music from across the genre spectrum. For example, Saharan rock, post techno from the East, Lithuanian folk songs, Hasidic free jazz and rap from Gorzów all appeared at one edition.
LwMLado in the Cityfree and you will encounter neither barriers nor intrusive advertising. The programme deviates far from that associated with free city festivals and, thanks to its location on the popular Vistula boulevards, much of the audience is incidental. Our aim and greatest satisfaction is to bring the brave, independent and often not easy to understand art closer to people who have not previously had the chance to encounter a similar approach to music. We believe that by doing so, we open minds, inspire and add variety to the urban landscape.
