A music and dance show that has been created thanks to the many years of artistic experience of the Carrantuohill band and the Salake dance troupe that works with them.
Existing since 1987, the musical group performs traditional Celtic songs from Ireland and Scotland as well as their own arrangements. It is characterised by a unique sound. The band has played more than three thousand concerts at home and abroad and won the prestigious Fryderyk award for the best ethno-folk album. It has released 23 phonograms, collaborating with many outstanding artists (among others: Anna Maria Jopek, Stanisław Sojka, Maciej Balkar, Tomasz Szukalski, Wojciech Karolak, Krzysztof Ścierański, Urszula Dudziak, Jakub Badach, Robert Kasprzycki, Anna Dymna).
A joint project with Salake, multiple world champions in their field, the programme features Carrantuohill's music as a backdrop to the dance routines. This is complemented by colourful costumes and finely choreographed routines that captivate and enthrall audiences, showcasing the culture of the Green Island at its most exhilarating.
