The exhibition Mammals and Suckers at HOS gallery presents a dialogue between Ida Karkoszka and Karolina Wysocka, visual artists whose work is embedded in a critical reflection on ecology, capitalism and interspecies community. The theme of the exhibition is the motif of suction and extraction, combining biological, technological and bodily perspectives to show the entangled relationship between the natural world and systems of industrial exploitation.

The main part of the exhibition will be two large-format installations: "Taste of Joy" by Ida Karkoszka and "Breaking the Mercury" by Karolina Wysocka.

As part of the event, a sound performance by Wiktor Klimaszewski will take place at 8.30pm in the exhibition space of Ida Karkoszka and Karolina Wysocka. The event is part of the Night of Museums and the local Muranowska Majówka festival.
