We invite you to visit the Mausoleum of Struggle and Martyrdom - a branch of the Pawiak Prison Museum, a branch of the Museum of Independence in Warsaw during the European Funds Days 2025.

The Mausoleum of Struggle and Martyrdom is located in the premises of the former Gestapo detention centre. The exhibition consists, among other things, of authentic cells from the occupation period, in which inscriptions and signs left by inmates have been preserved.
Participants of the tour will be able to see the interiors described and learn about the history of the building, the operation of the detention centre and the fate of selected prisoners.
Visits as part of the FE Days 2025 are free of charge.

NOTE
Guided tours start at the appointed times on 9 May this year, meeting point at the entrance to the Mausoleum.
Entry to the Mausoleum throughout the FE Days 2025 at our facility from 9 -10 May 2025 is free of charge. Opening hours are 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Last visitors are admitted 30 minutes before the Museum closes.
