Beach in Zawady

Beach in Zawady

The beach at Zawady is the largest and one of the most natural beaches in Warsaw. It extends in the southern part of the city, in the Wilanów district. Hidden away, almost wild, it offers wide stretches of sand stretching for almost a kilometre. And at its widest point it even reaches 50 metres. Part of the beach is part of the Zawadowskie Islands nature reserve. Which provides unique contact with unspoilt nature and a landscape shaped solely by the Vistula River. At the height of the Wilanów palace, on Wał Zawadowski Street, a car park is available, from which only a few steps separate visitors from the vast sandy area.

The beach at Zawady is the ideal place for those seeking respite from the hustle and bustle of the city and who value peace and quiet and proximity to nature. The area is freely divided here. To the right of the spurs, naturists like to relax, while the left side is used by people in traditional bathing suits. On the other side of the Vistula, the Romantic beach in Wawerknown for its numerous cultural events. Although it lacks extensive infrastructure, it is the wild character and open space that attracts those who want to relax by the river in peace and quiet.
