Born in Cardiff, raised in Sheffield and now living in the capital, Kat Eaton has been steadily building her reputation both in the UK and abroad over the past few years. Her love of blues, soul, jazz and gospel began at an early age, when she would listen to her father's record collection and secretly sneak into gigs at working-class clubs and pubs to see Sheffield blues legend Frank White. It was at one of these first gigs that Kat decided that she would not become a pop artist (as many of her friends had suggested), but would instead follow her instincts and perform the music she grew up on and had in her blood.
After touring the UK and Europe supporting artists such as Jools Holland, Paul Carrack, The Teskey Brothers, Marc Broussard and Mamas Gun, selling out numerous shows in London, co-writing songs with artists such as Caro Emerald, Ruby Turner and Roberta Campos, and gaining popularity in the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Italy with national radio stations, Kat has established herself as one of the hardest working and most talented artists in her field.
Following the worldwide success of her debut album Talk To Me, Kat has returned to the studio to record her second album and prepare to tour the UK and Europe. Armed with new original songs and backed by a band that has played alongside artists such as Tom Jones, Van Morrison, George Benson, Mark Ronson and Ed Sheeran, Kat Eaton delivers a world-class live performance - honest and mesmerising.
Talk To Me does not represent an artist just emerging - this album establishes Kat as an artist who has already achieved mastery in her field and is ready to share the fruits of years of hard work with the world.
