The OKR takes place in several stages and the first of these, the Warsaw agglomeration stage, has been taking place at the Dorozkarnia since 2022.
The competition is aimed at secondary school students and adults, who can take part in four categories: the recitation tournament, the spoken word tournament, the sung poetry tournament and the one-actor theatre tournament. Thanks to the variety of categories, each participant has the opportunity to present his or her talents in the form that is most convenient for them.
All performances are judged by an interdisciplinary jury of recognised experts, educators and artists. In previous editions, the jury included, among others, Stanisław Dembski, Melania Grzesiewicz, Anna Rochowska, Stanisław Godlewski and Julia Flisińska.
