Primordial are coming back to Poland! The Irishmen will present their material at two concerts in the country, in Krakow's Hype Park on 25 April and a day later in Warsaw's Proxima. The evening will be opened by representatives of the Polish black metal scene: Above Aurora and Odium Humani Generis.

Playing for nearly 40 years now, Primordial is an icon of the scene. Starting out in black metal, then naturally progressing to a more melodic version of the genre, the band eventually evolved into a folk sound, implying instruments such as whistles and mandolins. The band has toured with bands such as Thyrfing and Moonsorrow, but we can easily find a common denominator between their current work and that of folk and pagan metal legends such as Enslaved and Triptykon. Their music is characterised by a deep, emotional delivery and atmospheric sound that reflects Ireland's history, culture and heritage. Primordial's lyrics often refer to Celtic mythology, history and spirituality. The band has 10 studio albums to their credit. Their latest album, 'How It Ends', was released in 2023 by Metal Blade Records.
Odium Humani Generis or black metal from the city of Lodz. The singers of disillusionment and downfall. The band's distinctive sound is made up of inspirations reaching far beyond the standard black metal aesthetic.
Malignant Voices' latest album, 'Miedzyczas', was very well received and has stirred up a lot in numerous music summaries of 2024.

Above Aurora is a band from Poznan, Poland, formed in 2014, playing a mix of black and doom metal. Inspired by bands such as Aosoth, Funeral Mist and Kriegsmaschine, Above Aurora paint sonic landscapes filled with pain, hopelessness and dilemmas. Their latest album Myriad Woes was released on 29 March last year on German label War Anthem Records.
